Wendes Systems, Inc. has written several technical publications pertaining to the sheet metal industry. The most significant of these publications is the recently updated "Wendes Mechanical Estimating Manual", formerly published as "Everything you wanted to know about sheet metal estimating", with expanded tables, charts and information for sheet metal and mechanical estimating. There are more than 30,000 copies of this publication in circulation today. It is an invaluable manual for introducing an estimator to the basic elements of sound estimating principles. Many of the principles and formulas have been incorporated in Wendes computerized estimating systems.
